* August 9                      10am – 2pm          Sports Authority, Palm Desert

* August 28                     6pm – 8pm           Hovley Fields, Palm Desert

* August 29                     6pm – 8pm           Hovley Fields, Palm Desert

* August 30                    9am – noon           Hovley Fields, Palm Desert


New Player Registration Information:

Players must be a minimum of 5 years old as of August 1st, this year.

Proof of age must be provided at time of registration.

Congratulations to our president, Bob Richardson, who was nominated and won the "LA Galaxy Volunteer of the Year" award.

Bob was chosen among all of the volunteers in the 7 districts that forms the CalSouth. This is San Diego, Imperial, Riverside, Orange, Ventura, Santa Barbara, San Luis Obispo, Kern & San Bernadino Counties.

Very Impressive!

 

Bob received the actual award at the CalSouth Awards dinner, on February 8, 2014

 


2013 LA Galaxy Volunteer of the Year

This award recognizes those individuals who give an extraordinary amount of time and effort to promote soccer and to give our players and coaches the arena to participate. Requirements include affiliation with an active Cal South club and be in good standing; an outstanding record of participation; an excellent role model for the community beyond soccer; favorable relations with other members of the soccer community; minimum of 5 years of service to youth soccer; demonstrated a willingness to promote players and the game; must be a positive role model for all volunteers and is of sound moral and ethical character.
